What is this all about? Well…

My name is Derek Leroy Vandenberg and when I was young I drew and doodled a bit. When I got older I stumbled into the world of the internet during the end of my middle school days.   I was exposed to Newgrounds.com and all its wondrous flash animations, games, and online community.  I thought to myself after watching so many toons and fiddling with flash myself that “I could be one of those guys.” - An online flash animator with their own site and collection of growing work.

This is what it’s grown into.  Years later with experience, mistakes, triumphs, and confidence carved into my skull I have my own website of which to hold links to my work and digital-walls to showcase articles, fan art, downloads, etc. etc.   I do feel I am “one of those guys” now.  Not only that but, I find myself a creator – I love creating things.  Also I am honoured to have such friends to offer not only their voices but some their musical talents.

I have over forty flash animations (mostly dedicated to my online flash series The Duders), written articles – soon poetry, a few games, bits of art, a handful of films, and music experimentation.  I’m not stopping anytime soon.  I love creating things and will continue – I will create for the love of it and for the sake of laughter of which Duder Entertainment was birthed from.   I hope anyone who watches, reads, plays, listens, or sees enjoys what I have to offer.
